Cup Holder for Porsche 911 / 996 / 986 Boxster (1997–2005)

Cup holder specifically designed to fit your Porsche Boxster or 911 (model years 1997–2005). Our cup holder utilizes an existing mounting point in your vehicle and can be easily installed in under 5 minutes. Installation does not require any tools or modification and is 100% reversible within minutes. These cup holders are sturdy and made to fit short and tall beverage containers, large tumblers, and even cups with handles.

Fitment: Model years 1997–2005 Porsche Boxster 986 or 996 911.

Diameter of opening: 3.4" (Fits large tumblers, cups and coffee cups with handles.)

Installation: First, remove the existing trim piece by using your fingers to pull it away from the center console next to the shifter. Start at the bottom of the front or the back of the piece. It may require a bit of  force as these clips hold that knee pad trim piece tight. Do not bend it upwards too much or you might break one of the four tabs. Once the bottom becomes unclipped, slide your fingers under it to release the remaining clips. You can see the back of the trim piece in one of the photos.

As in the video, slide the cupholder on to the trim piece you just removed. It's best to align the wrap-around portion of the cupholder with the tab at the bottom of the back of the trim piece (as seen in the photo.) Make sure all tabs are straight and the metal clips are secured in the holes in the center console before putting the trim piece back on. Snap the base with the cupholder back on, making sure tabs are aligned with the holes.
